On eBooks

As a fan of e-books, especially for light reading (read British mysteries) but also for cookbooks because of the price difference when compared to the hard copy, I’m always interested in current trends in publishing and reading.

I’m sure that as indexers we all tend to be concerned about these issues since we do work with books.  I found an interesting article reshared on LinkedIn by Pierke Bosschieter:  What Happened to the eBook Revolution?  by Marcus Reily.  It’s an interesting read.

Though I read a lot of ebooks, I’m happy that the print book is still around.  The simulated page-turning of an ebook just can replace the turning of a real page.
